  1. On Monday 24th of September David Wright  was filmed for a new TV documentary about the Trent & Mersey Canal. The film when finished will be offered to Channel 4. The filming consisted of David working at the easel on his latest Cromford Canal composition, Then he was interviewed with his paintings and models. Special footage featured his model of Shobnall Wharf and the canal side pub that used to stand there (pictured). The director wants to also use David on location sketching alongside the canal, but this will have to wait for when they can rely on the weather!!
