Join the Guild

We are an elected exhibiting group of like-minded artists who have joined together to promote our art and the pursuit of excellence in our work regarding all aspects of the Waterways. We provide help and encouragement to all and welcome other artists who share our interests and whose work complements our own. We aim to exhibit together at least twice a year and encourage everyone to contribute work. We are always open to suggestions for new opportunities to exhibit.

We are a widespread group, and so we tend only to meet up when we are exhibiting together. We have a vital Facebook presence and also a private group page to enable us communicate with each other easily. 

The theme that unites us is a love of the Waterways of Britain, and we express that through our art.

Membership applications will be collected and processed for voting twice a year, in March and September. Deadlines for Applications are March 1st and September 1st, respectively.

If you wish to apply for membership, there is a simple procedure whereby you fill in a short form and provide us with examples of your work to be put to the membership. Every member is entitled to vote for or against applicants. A majority vote of the full membership will mean your application is successful.

The annual membership fee for members is £22.50 per annum for direct bank transfer or £23.00 for cash or cheque payment, and includes public liability insurance for Guild exhibitions.
